The court is 20'W by 40' long.
I have never played but hear it is fun.
I think a lot of the City Parks with tennis courst have pickle ball courts now. The park at 9th and Edgemoor has them outside and may have one inside as well.
I think if you Google "Pickleball in Wichita" you can get some info on where to play.

Origins of Pickle Ball
When the sport first started, around 1980s, it was called Cucumber ball. It was mostly played by men 30 years old and younger.
Then, in the early 2000s those same men got a little older. Some say it is only a coincidence that the name of the came changed to Pickle Ball.
Recently, there has been a push to rename the sport "Gherkin Ball". I am not sure why. By the way, The Pickle Ball pro league just picked up a huge national sponsor. I believe it was Cialis.

I watched some Pickleball on TV once. I came away thinking it was tennis for people who can't play tennis. A little less skill, athleticism and endurance required from what I saw.
Full disclosure: I play tennis, so I'm biased.
